What's that thing called "summer stress"?
I am writing from my new couch from Mio möbler. Summerdays should be like this. Best couch I have ever owned. Thankful to the 2 strong men that carried it, it is so heavy, 84 kg!

Theo also feels comfortable sitting in the new couch.

Summer should have lots of space for thinking, relaxing, taking good care of body, soul and spirit. That word summer stress should not be necessary at all. But if you feel any of it, here are 10 points that maybe could be of interest.

1. Start the day with a 15 minutes meditation. Focus your mind on that dispite weather conditions or location you have a day of good things to come.
2. Make a summer schedule, for each week. Make plans for things that have to be taken care of at home, friends/relatives to meet, places you want to go to etc.
3. Give yourself quality time for yourself, you and your partner, with friends, with children and/or grand children, with the your entire family and/or with friends you haven't met in while, invite neighbours etc. All people that surround you are important in different ways.
4. Refuse to think of jobrelated issues at all. Clean out your job bag, put job keys in that particular pocket of the bag, and make a decision in your mind that you do not need these things until the date when you start working again. Make sure that job e-mails don't reach you, have an auto-response on. Don't ever check job e-mails from your phone!
5. Set goals for your summer. What is important to you? Don't bother about pressure from others. Just make decisions for yourself. In different areas of your life: health, food habits, work out, social life, renovating the home, cleaning out, get rid of junk, give away things to charity, organizing your kitchen, garden, flowers, pets, for any other things that need time. Make a list and make marks when done.
6. If you can't afford a longer trip on vacation, make a plan for saving up for next vacation instead. So that you have things to look forward to. Discover your area around - where to go, places to enjoy that can be totally free. For example, Stockholm is at its' at summer.
7. Enjoy the sun, but be careful. Choose to sit in the shade under a tree and feel the breeze and relax. Summer is not only about getting a tan 24/7. Especially be careful with light-skinned children when/if outdoors at noon.

8. Go by bike on small countryside roads and sing! Don't be shy if you meet someone! They might envy you and copy your example...Get yourself a bike basket with luminous flowers! You will light up the world!

9. Get close to nature.

10. Visit an old church and sit still for 10 minutes and feel the peace. Light a candle for someone you care about. Look up, you might see writings on the wall...
